We here at Band Back Together have some way exciting news, yo!

Check out what Amy at Blogger Body has to say:

Remember when your kids first started school? You were so happy! There they go!

All they really needed were some pencils, crayons and glitter. They loved school; you loved hearing their stories about all of the fun things they did while they were at school. Everything was right with the world.

Now fast-forward to middle school. The school supply list looks longer than your Christmas card list - plus sports, extra-curriculars, and the ‘right’ clothes. You needed an assistant to get you through that school year.

That’s what happened with the Blogger Body Project.

When we started in 2010, everything came together seamlessly. When it grew bigger, I needed some assistants: I got great ones (thanks Allison, Alison, and Alex!). But the project kept growing and I was faced with the very real possibility of having to close the whole thing down – it was TOO much.

Enter Aunt Becky.

This sums up our whole conversation:

Me: “Becky, HELP!”

Aunt Becky: “I got your back.”

I cried real tears when I got off the phone with her the first time. I was in over my head...yet I didn’t want to give up on this very important and super awesome project.

That brings us today.

Today we are combining Band Back Together and the Blogger Body Calendar.

I am giving BB2G full rights to use the name and brand, and we will be moving all of our content over to our own space on the BB2G site. From now on, all that awesome content and support from Blogger Body will now be at BB2G.

It makes perfect sense actually.

I have long admired what The Band does. All of the (previously) unspoken subjects they tackle. BB2G loves Blogger Body and wholeheartedly supports Violence UnSilenced. The two projects are like long lost friends.

Starting next week, we will continue our content only now here on BB2G. On September 1, we will FINALLY open up the ordering for the calendar.

We hope you will support us as we strive to make sure that Blogger Body continues this year and into the future.

It was more than I could do alone.

I needed a whole Band to back me up.

~Love, Amy
