We, The Band, work to do better - to BE better. This month, we're launching a new theme, Project Acceptance, as a way to take a good, hard look at ourselves and work toward accepting those things - big or small - that make us who we are. Maybe it's something you hate about yourself. Maybe it's something you love about yourself. Either way, it's part of you. And that? Is something to be celebrated.

So, The Band, what will you accept? Is it you? Is it someone else? Is it your situation?

We want to know.

Let's rock BB2G World Tour for Project Acceptance!

When I raised my hand to write this post, I thought it would be pretty easy. Cut and dry. I mean, it's about Acceptance. But now I've said and thought the word so many times it sounds like a not-real word and my brain isn't working.

Acceptance is a funny thing.

Some people work really hard and long to get to a point where they accept their situation, whatever it may be. Some people I know just accept it immediately.

I often wonder what the difference is. Why do some have to work toward it and some don't? Is it their personality or faith or internal wiring? Is it because of their pasts? I wonder...

So that leads us to this month's World Tour Track -- Acceptance.

What do you have that you're working on accepting? Your body, situation, diagnosis, lifestyle, future, past? Loss of friendships or relationships, pregnancy

Have you just started your journey towards acceptance?

Do you think of yourself as an accepting person? Do you welcome all types of people with all kinds of stories into your world?

Do you long to be accepted? What makes you feel like you're not?

Share your story on Band Back Together or on your own site. Link up below if you do!

Let's get ready to talk about Acceptance!
